Anything better than Adium?

I've been using Adium off an on for a month. I also use Skype. (Yes, I know there is a kludge that lets Adium work with Skype but you have to have Skype running so what is the point?!)

Is there anything better for Mac than Adium?

And for bonus points is there a chat program for XP that will do Skype, Gmail and MSN (preferably without loading all those proprietary clients)?

Well, a really cool looking program called DIgsby is coming to mac..might be better.

Not sure what you special needs might be, or how Skype plays into it, but Adium is pretty much the standard for chat programs on the Mac unless you need iSight support.

Why do you not like Adium? Just so we know what you're looking for in an IM client...
