They are/were running a back to school special to clear out current models of ipods up to an ipod touch. I think the deal is related to the MBP you purchase. You pay for it and they send a rebate check to you. I purchased a nano for daughter's upcoming birthday and received my rebate check yesterday.

No. The iPhone does not qualify for the back-to-school promotions.

Get the free touch and the free printer. Sell them if you don't need them. Use the profits as a "discount" on your MBP or for an iPhone.
