Anything new on them

I heard about the WW something out west and they were suppose to introduce some new stuff from what I heard at school and my dad wants to buy a MBP since I got mine he loves it and I just want to know should he go ahead and buy it or wait for a month and then get it after some updates to it, if there are any?

I've read that the MBP could be expecting updates at the Paris expo in September, pretty much a month away right now.
