Anything to be done about how crappy flash is?

So Safari keeps freaking out anytime i try and play a flash video. It goes ahead and uses about 50% CPU and my MBP heats up like a hot plate and my fans go crazy. Anything to be done about this?

Upgrade to Flash 10 and complain to Adobe.

Silverlight is godly on OS X. Imagine that.
