Not sure of the best place to post this question, but here it goes.
I have an outdated iPad 6.0 and a macbook air.
I'd like to update the iPad and want move my pictures from it to my air then to a external drive using this software but I'm worried about compatibility and safety of using it.

Time to invest in a cloud stolrage plan.

Google Drive for one, nice to be redundant, along with iCloud.

I tried and still have others (Amazon, OneDrive) but fink d Google has worked best for me.

USB3 drives attached to router similar to Apple TimeCapsule is always there online and works seamlessly.
