Anyway of re-downloading deleted Apps

Hi there need some advice please guys/girls.
If I delete a tv episode which I downloaded through iTunes can I re-download it for free??

I basically need to delete an episode I got for free through '12 days of Xmas' and download another because I don't have enough memory available for both.

The policy is no, but if you ask iTunes support nicely, they may let you.

Ok so why in the past have I got a popup on my phone saying 'the item I'm trying to download has already been purchased. Would I like to re-download?'

Is this not the same?

That will apply to Apps purchased, but I don't know about TV episodes

You don't have enough storage available on your iPhone or your computer? If it's iPhone space you're worried about, then just use the option to transfer purchases made from the phone to iTunes. This will store the episode on your computer so you can remove it from the phone without losing it.

I think TV falls in with songs. If you delete a song it tells you you have already purchased it, "do you want to buy it again" I believe if you hook up to iTunes through the PC you might be able to get it back for free. Not 100% on this.
