I often charge my Moto Q running Windows Mobile 5 through my desktop PC, but I recently got a MacBook and want to charge it using my Mac (I'm refusing to use PC's from now on). I can easily boot into Windows 7 and charge it with Mobile Device Center, but I don't want to boot into Windows everytime I want to charge my phone. Anybody know of a way I can charge my phone in OS X?

Thank you. ^_^

Does it use mini USB? If so use a USB to mini USB lead??

HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA.
That should be how it works, right? Unfortunately that's not the case. Even when I plug it into Windows based computers, it doesn't charge. In Windows Vista and 7 I have to download Microsoft Mobile Device Center/Manager. In Windows XP I have to download ActiveSync.

Badly designed phone. It should just charge anyway when plugged into the USB port. Reminds me of my old sony ericson. Would only charge when you had the drivers installed, but i couldn't install them at work.

You could try using Fusion or Parallels.
