Hey guys I noticed that the macbook pro is $50 more in Canada, anyway to get the American price without driving across the line?

Thanks

Actually, it's more than $50. I live in Vancouver, Canada and just ordered the $1499 rMBP model to a mailbox in the US.

Total for the $1499 model after taxes in:

Canada - $1,622.88 (with student discount)
US - $1,517.92 (with student discount)

*edited pricing*

Where did you get $1734 from?
The mid model $1549 with education discount is $1449 plus 13% tax... is $1637.

To the OP... you would have to get it shipped to a US address.. but then getting it into Canada still would pay duties unless you find someone to bring it over without declaring it, etc. Not worth it in my opinion.

Thank-you for pointing out the error in the price, it has now been edited. In the end, you only end up saving $104.96. It's up to you if the savings are worth the trip across the border.
