So have UK account. If get US can I merge the apps from both stores?

Thanks

Yes, I'm doing it. It works fine. The only thing to remember is that the app will not update until you log back in to your US account.

Wouldn't bother trying to set up a U.S account the BBC app will be live in the uk soon.

This is silly, a BBC (UK) app not available in the UK but available in another country.

This is because the BBC Trustees have been Teabagging Rupert Murdoch. Agreed not to release any apps in the UK market and put less resource into their news site.

It's not BBC's fault the Sky, Sun and Times websites are crap!

Yeah it's all pending investigation just now.

I'm trying to get someone to download and upload the .ipa file so I can install it. Anyone on here willing to do it?

I don't think you can do that unless you JB/Spirited/Whatever the latest thing is, to your iphone - won't it just say it's not valid?

Your time would be better spent writing a complaint email to the Trust about their clumsy regulation and slow decision making.

My iPad is jailbroken so it would work. I can't be bothered going through the rigmarole of setting up a US account (don't I need either a US credit card or an iTunes gift card?).

To solve your problem BBC iplayer provides you the best services, you can Get Expat Shield from BBC iplayer for this.
