Hi, I've been having some bad luck with my recent purchases, and I'd like to get a refund on a newly purchased item. (My third)

I've talked to Apple Care and the guy wants me to send it in for repair, and quite honestly, I am not thrilled about sending a brand new computer in for repair. He does not want to send a replacement because of my bad luck with the three I've already gotten, and he said "We don't usually do refunds." I've heard of members on here who have gotten refunds on their defective items. Apple Store is far away and I can not drive there.

Who else would I be able to talk to at Apple to resolve this issue? On the Apple Contact page (http://www.apple.com/contact/), there are a bunch of numbers. Should I call Public Relations? I don't see anyone else I could call, and I really don't want to go through Apple Care again.

This whole ordeal has been taking a month, and I'd like to get it over with.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

PS. Sorry if this is an inappropriate place to put this thread.
