I really want to download a new album for a drive later, but as im doing it on 3G it wont let me download it as the album happens to contain a free music video (which I dont even want.)

Of course that stops the entire album from downloading

Anyway round it?

1. Find a local hotspot.

2. I'd use LogMeIn remote desktop to do it remotely, adding it to my iTunes Match account.

Genius, except I disable to disable VNC outside of my network the other day for some reason.

There's no way around it on stock unless a VPN makes it think you're using wifi (just a guess, I don't know anything about VPN)

I get around it by using my iPhone as a hotspot for my iPad when I'm downloading on my iPad, or vice-versa. Of course you need two devices that are hotspot-capable to do that so not ideal by any means.

Just had a thought - can you go into 'Purchased' in iTunes and download song by song?
