I have a Dell AIO 962 and the drivers seem to not exist for my mac. Is this printer garbage?

According to the Linux Foundation's OpenPrinting project, your Dell Photo AIO Printer 962 is a paperweight. This printer is a rebranded version of the Lexmark x7170 which is also a paperweight.
