Anyway to hide icon preview for certain file types?

What I want to do is hide the annoying icon preview for files like .txt, .xml, .php, .html etc. Instead I want the file to show the icon associated with the default app, while having icon preview still on for other files(like images). Is this possible?

Ok. So you get info on the document you want to change the icon on and you get info on the application you want to replace the icon with. Drag the bottom icon in the application window to the top icon in the document window. You would have to do this with all of the files though. I'm not sure if you could do this to multiple files automatically. Hope this is what you were asking.

Oh. And to revert it back click on the top icon and hit delete.
