iPad Anyway to install ios 6 on ipad 1?

Hi guys,

I have an ipad 1 that I've been letting my toddler use, and now a lot of apps are starting to require ios 6.

Is there anyway to install ios 6 on an original ipad? It currently has 5.1.1 on it. it had been jailbroken several times when it was my daily driver, but when I retired it to babysitting duty, I restored to unjailbroken form.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!!

nope, the latest version is iOS 5.1.1 for the original ipad. you will need to get a newer iPad if you want to download the apps that require iOS 6 or higher
