Hi all,

Just bought a new Leopard package. When I wanted to install it says I need to partition my HDD in GUID format, which means I would have to format my HDD.

The problem is, the HDD inside my MacBook is 250GB. I couldn't clone it to my 80GB external HDD. Is there anyway I could install Leopard without the GUID partition?

or could I:-
1) Install Leopard on the external and then somehow only migrate the OS to my MacBook? While Keeping all the other datas and preference settings on my old Tiger Macbook.

2) Make a GUID Partition without wiping out the entire HDD?

3) Install Leopard on the Macbook HDD without making the GUID partition?
