Anyway to just add an SMTP server in iOS?

I would like to just add an SMTP server and only use it to send mail, similar to the feature on MobileMe. I don't want the mail app to check for new mail. Is this possible?

1) You bumped within a day. Don't do that.

2) Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calednars > Choose an account that uses an SMTP server > tap the Account button > tap the SMTP button > tap Add server...

That should be what you need.
