I don't trust my post office since they've messed up before and put other peoples post office box stuff into mine (and I'm sure some of mine they've put into others).

Is there anyway to pre-order an iPhone SE and pick it up without attempting a delivery?

Most of the time in the past both Fedex and UPS have told me "No, we must attempt at least one delivery before you can come to the station to pick it up" :(

If you have that low of confidence in your local Post Office, just walk into the store and buy it in person.

I'd rather pre-order and guarantee getting one on launch day, so I want to order it tonight and simply want a way to pick it up in person on the 31st without a delivery attempt.

It will be easy if and only if Apple allows it for the preorder of the iPhone SE. My personal view is that they will offer an option to reserve one for pick-up at your selected Apple store next week. However, we will not know the details until the pre-order process starts.

I believe you can pre-order and select in-store pickup. I did that with my 6 Plus. It should be an option.

Thanks you guys, didn't know this was an option before your responses. Will look to do this tonight and pick up in store :)

Cheers!

I concur..I had to have it delivered....

Yeah normally would be fine for most people but one roommate of mine I just don't trust + my Post Office makes errors all the time with PO box mail going in the wrong PO box.

Sigh... :(

Just let it be delivered to someone you trust - and pick the Phone up later there….

Apple doesn't typically use USPS for delivery. It's been FedEx in years past, and UPS, I believe, these last few years. Since UPS and FedEx can't access your USPS mailbox, you shouldn't have the problem you're describing - both UPS and FedEx deliver to your door.
