i am currently in vienna and lost my iphone last night. a friend with german skills was able to connect with the "finder" of the phone, and we scheduled a meeting time for this morning, but in the interim, i had at&t disable calling and data roaming. i had them turn it back on this morning, but now when i call it goes straight to voicemail. i assume this is because the iphone needs to be restarted to re-connect to this international network, since it seems unlikely that the fellow has the phone turned completely off (i was supposed to call him on it to connect). so basically my question is... is there any way to remotely restart the iphone or push it to connect to the local carrier? at&t says no (which doesn't mean much), and i did not install any tracking apps before it was lost.

there's also the obvious possibility that mr. finder decided to keep it for himself, but i'm trying to keep hope alive...
