anyway to restore to 5.0?

I'm still on 5.0 as I haven't touched 5.0.1 yet...but my iPhone4s could really use a restore, the text app was crashing like crazy last night. I'm afraid that if I attempt to restore it'll just move me up to 5.0.1 and I won't be able to JB once it is released.

Do I have any options here?

If I remember correctly you can't go back, you'd either have to switch to a pre iOS 5 you had blobs saved or the latest. Someone correct me if I buggered that up though.

I don't think he can go pre iOS 5 as he won't have blobs saved on a 4s

Correct no way to downgrade on a 4s at the momment. Also IFaith only works on the current software. Not prevusly installed software. Currently IFaith does not support 4S.

Since you have 4S and if you don't want to restore to 5.0.1, there there isn't any option for you at this moment.

Just restored to 5.0 now. I was having several battery issues (was running 5.0). Let's see if it's solved. I used iFaith to accomplish this.
