I'm debating cutting the cable cord and going with hulu plus...I can use my ps3 to stream those shows - but for other shows like 'the daily show' etc. I have to use a different website that doesn't work on a television. My computer is not near my TV (and is an iMac so not portable)...is there any (hopefully cheap) solution to stream my iMacs screen and audio to my TV?

Thanks!

Hmmm....so it looks like this is possible with apple tv and a hack...isn't there any hardware solution - i.e. mini-video out on the iMac connected to an antena - HDMI in for the tv connected to an antena?

Mark.

Depends on your iMac for one. If you have a Mini-Display port, a Mini-Display port to HDMI adapter and a long enough HDMI cable and you are set...

There are different kinds depending on the age of your iMac. Some deliver audio via USB into the HDMI out box, others straight from the Mini-Display port on your iMac (that would be the new iMacs on the market.)

How far is it? Those HDMI cables can get pretty expensive by themselves.
