Anyway to update to iOS GM with Windows?

Nope. You need the iTunes 9.2 beta to do it, which is only available for Mac at the minute

just wait till next week when it officially rolls out. lots of apps still aren't supporting 4.0 yet. When iPhone 4 rolls out so will 4.0. lots of people that try 4.0 end up downgrading again.

I have beta 4 already... I just went to Best Buy to and restored my phone on a mac from the ipsw on my flashdrive..


But best buy doesn't have 9.2

Could I run a virtual machine?

it's called a Hackintosh and it's not that easy. requires certain setting on the pc. certain motherboars work and requires installing boot loaders and kernels. info here.
