Really needed a new external monitor for my macbook pro, as my retina display is on the fritz. I saw an AOC i2369vm in Hong Kong for a deal the other day and bought it (180USD). (Still waiting for new tb display)
Anyway, it's a pretty nice monitor, thin bezels, IPS, 1920x1080. Unfortunately it will not work when hooked up from tb/mini display port to display port. It will work with tb/ mini to hdmi and gets full resolution, but would rather use the the dp. Display port hookup makes my macbook go nuts and flicker, and black display on external. Also there is no ability to control the audio of the monitor.
Waiting to hear from AOC, but anyone have any ideas? It appears there are no mac drivers available.
