Where I am
For about a week now, I have been using my AW6, with the AoD option on.
A moment ago, I turned off the AoD.

Often, when notifications would come through, the screen would sort of get stuck, between the watch display and the said notification. Thus showing both. Rather annoying.

Anyone else notice this issue?

This is what it looks like...

What do you do when that happens? I mean how do you resolve that?

Thus far, flicking my wrist, seems to resolve it. Sometimes I need to do it a few times.
Cool, thanks for getting back to me. I've been very on the fence about upgrading from my S4 to the S6. I'll be honest, the AOD isn't really anything that interests me so I'd most likely turn it off. Anyway I was just curious, TY again.

It is a nice upgrade. Do not wavier, based on my post. Someone else replied to my post on another forum (copy below). Makes me feel like I am simply 'using it wrong'...

Comment from another forum:
"That is normal. Your watch is in always on dim mode, which always shows either a watch face that supports AOD, or it shows the time in the upper-right corner, with what the display was showing at the time it went into AOD dim mode showing blurred in the background, just like your photo shows. The only other exception is the Workout app, which shows your configured workout data updated once per second in AOD dim mode..."

Not at all, I'm just a cheapskate in my old age. I'm actually trying to talk myself INTO the S6, this year lol.
I'm right with you. Have the Series 1 with an old iphone SE and they seem to work well together. I don't want to upgrade the phone so I'm waiting for a stand alone watch that is an all in one watch and phone. I use a mac mini and ipad so I don't want a phone.

Curious, would an Apple Watch, with cellular, not suffice?
