I have brand new MacBook with Office 2008 and am having hard time finding compatable software to format APA style for my graduate PSYC course. PERLA does not work and had trouble with Styleease. Anybody that can advise what software will work to write APA formatted paper would be very much appreciated.

For citations, Word 2008 has a built-in citation manager, but it also works with Endnote.

For formatting, you might just have to create styles and margins, and set up a template file.

Zotero, which is a free browser plugin for managing citations now has a Word plugin for Mac Office 2008. It's alpha software, which means there may be bugs, and I haven't tried it, but there looks to be quite a bit of discussion on it at the Zotero forums.

The Zotero system is quite slick, I have to say. Nice application.
