Ape decorder and possible sacd player

I have a nice DAC. That I purchased for my 2.3Ghz 970FX G5. The little information I found online about the sound chip for the G5 is sparse. What I know though was enough to purchase a DAC. As the G5 is only capable of 24bit/48kHz. Any audiophile heads know if the G5 is capable of decoding ape file format. And since my DAC1 is capable of PCM playback. What about sacd player?
