Aperture 2.1.1 Update

Who else uses Aperture and Who did this Update.
At work i have all our computers running aperture but i also have it on my macbook and a neglected to buy a volume license. so i used one out of Serial Seeker but the new update addresses this issue so know i can only use my aperture when my airport is off or the other computer isn't running aperture

Anyone know how to get around this?

Go on and just pay for it. Aperture is more than worth it.
