Hi There,
I am an Aperture 2 user, and use Dodge and Burn for local edits on images. For a long while, I had no problem with it. But recently, I started noticing that the .tiff files created by Dodge and Burn are often no where to be found (I think this might be a Referenced File problem only, but I can't be sure). Strangely, this does not affect all the Referenced file-Dodge & Burn .tiffs I create, only some of them.
Steps I've Taken
1) Tried to Reconnect Masters (in Manage Referenced Files). The .tiff file paths in the top window are red, and when I click on the corresponding Master RAW file in the bottom window, the option to reconnect (one, or all) remains greyed out.
2) More discouraging still, a simple search for the file names in Spotlight yields no results. That is, the original referenced RAW file shows up (and its local back-up), but not the .tiff generated by Dodge and Burn.
So, as a result, I cannot make any further adjustments to these Dodge and Burn .tiffs. Worse, I cannot export them (by typical means - I can, however, drag and drop the preview from Aperture into a folder on my desktop, but it is a small file - typically just 2 to 4 MBs.) NEW INFO: I just noticed that these "drag-n-drop" exports that I'm forced to make create files with AdobeRGB colorspace - not what I want to send to clients!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
