Aperture 3: 13" C2D vs 15" i5

My current MacBook (2.0 GHz CD, 2GB RAM) is dying after more than 4 years. And I'm deciding which Macbook Pro to buy.

Photography is a hobby for me, and I mostly use Aperture 3 for editing/organizing my images. The question is: would I see an important increase in performance between the base 13" and the base 15" MacBook Pro?
