Aperture 3.5.x Video in slideshow slow/drops frames

I created a slidshow that has 2 video amongst the 229 RAW files that lasts less than 11 mins. I am experiencing slowmo video when it is played within a slideshow but the audio runs at standard speed. The video runs normally when played through Aperture's browser

I have a 2010 MBP Core 2 Duo with 4GB RAM and 240GB Crucial M4 SSD. Didn't have problems playing it on my 2012 iMac Core i7 with 24GB RAM & Fusion Drive
