Aperture 3 Doesn't Import Photos

I'm having difficulties with Aperture 3. I used to have absolutely no problems with it, but now when I import photos, it says "photos have been imported into untitled (13)) or something like that. Anyways, the event is never there, and when I go to photos they aren't there.

How can I fix this? I want to edit!!!

It sounds like the files are already in a different project. If you search your library for the name of the project listed in the dialog, you will probably find your photos.

I did that, still doesn't show anything
