I just put Aperture 3 on my MBP and then imported my iPhoto Events and Albums, etc into A3. My question is: these pictures, albums, etc are present in both applications. Are they duplicates or are they in one location and are accessed by both apps? If they are duplicates, I will more than likely transfer them to an external HD that I ordered which should be here within a day or two. I'd like to delete some of the files if they are true duplicates and taking up space on my MBP HD. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Please ignore this thread: Answer to my question is I clicked copy to aperture library- so, DUH, they are copies (duplicates). If I clicked "keep at present location" they would not. sorry!
