Aperture 3 & MacBook (late 2008)

I am thinking of getting Aperture 3, but some reviews mention "sluggish performance." So I was wondering if anyone has any experience running it with a similar machine:

- 13" Macbook aluminum (late 2008)
- 2.0 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
- 6 GB RAM
- Integrated Nvidia GeForce 9400M with 256 MB shared with main memory
- Snow Leopard

Apple Recommends/Requires:
- Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo processor
- 1GB of RAM

Any thoughts on the performance I'll see?

btw... Camera wise, I'll be working with RAW from a Canon 40D, so... 10.1 MP. 14 Bit

You'll be fine. Everyone will experience some sort of sluggish performance but nothing that is really time constraining or noticeable.
