Aperture auto enhance questions?

I'd like to use an iPhoto like auto enhance to my photo libraries in Aperture and have two related questions:

1) I do this in Aperture through "Presets->Quick fixes->Auto Enhance. One thing I noticed right away is that this applies equivalent settings to each photo! For example, it does not change the Shadows and Highlights settings according to how dark a photo looks.

2) Can I do this in batched somehow, without applying the same Adjustments to all pictures. Auto Enhancing should treat each photo according to its individual software-perceived shortcomings.
