I just downloaded and installed Aperture 3 on my 2008 MacBook Pro with OS 10.6.6. In Aperture's and Image Capture's preferences, I set Aperture to open automatically when I connect a camera. When I connect my iPhone 4, Aperture doesn't open, nor does the iPhone appear in Aperture when I open the program manually. When I connect my Canon Powershot A710IS, Aperture does open, and the camera appears, but the photos that are on the camera don't appear. All of this worked fine with iPhoto. Another strange thing is that, if I open iPhoto with the Canon connected, the Canon appears, as do the photos that are on it. When I connect my iPhone, though, it doesn't appear. In iPhoto's Preferences, Aperture is selected as the default program to open when a camera is connected. Any ideas?
