Please disregard this post, i have since found the solution on the net.
A question for file management with my aperture library with multiple users and multiple machines (1x iMac + 2 Macbook Airs etc)....please.
I would like a central location for all my photos (amateur - not professional around 100GB) that would be primarily for home use. I could easily leave these on my iMac's HD as there is plenty of free space and just get the other machines to update to a shared folder. I even have a dropbox account that I use for work, I could purchase more space and keep the central library there if possible.
I am currently using Aperture 2 also, will upgrade if there is a better management system in the newer versions.
I have tried in the past to have aperture link my laptops with compressed jpegs only (not originals) but now I look at the aperture images and the thumbnails are clear, but the large images are blurred. I am finding all this very frustrating.
If the updating process across the machines could be through a "cloud" that would be ideal.
This has probably been discussed before and I get various information from numerous different websites and thought there might be a really simple workflow for all of this.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Daniel
