Aperture Frustrations

This might be stupid, but I am sick of uploading my pictures in Aperture, and iPhoto to be integrated with iLife. Why can't Aperture and iPhoto use the same database? Has anyone come up with a solution for this?

Aperture is rad, but I like using iMovie, and iWeb for things and need my photos in iPhoto!
