Aperture Hardback book or Softback?

I have made in the past books on iPhoto in both hardback and softback, but they were gifts so cant look at them side by side now.

Im now making a large book in Aperture and am thinking about changing it to a softback book as the cover is printed nicely on the book and also saves about £5.

Does anyone know if there are any other quality changes as the price per extra page between hardback and softback is different.
