I have my aperture library store on an external drive - connected to my iMac.

I am backing up the library onto a second external (Time Machine)

There was a kernel panic and then I discovered that the aperture library has become corrupt - the images are not opening in Aperture. They also cannot be found on seen on the hard drive.

How /or/ should I restore using Time Machine (I can see the library of images are intact on the Time Machine backup drive)

I'm concerned because I just discovered that Time Machine may be the culprit for the aperture library damage
