Hello, I have an old Aperture library from a backup disk that I need to convert to iPhoto. I no longer have Aperture with my new computer, nor do I want to purchase for $80.(I was without a computer for over a year, ipad only)
Since apple has no 30 day trial Aperture I can't convert that way.

Any advice on how to convert an older Aperture library iPhoto?

I believe the current version of iPhoto uses aperture's library. Did you try loading/importing the library from iPhoto?

Yes I tried to import it, but a message comes up to upgrade Aperture.
Edit: I got to work this time, I don't know what changed, but it works. Thanks maflynn
