So I just got a brand new mac. I set it up as completely new and didnt use a time machine backup at all on the new mac. I downloaded Aperture via the app store. I had my Aperture library from my old mac just on a external. So of course i dragged it over to my new macs picture folder. Loaded up Aperture and all is there. The old Aperture library was fully up to date and on the same version of my newly downloaded copy. When I go to desktop/screensaver section in system preferences aperture doesnt even show up at all. just iPhoto. Any ideas?
