I,m using Aperture as well as iPhoto to work with my pictures. When I go to use a picture for a desktop or an album for a screen saver I find that Aperture is not on the list in the Desktop & Screensaver window. Anybody know what is wrong? glenn

I'm having the same issue. Everything was working fine until today when Aperture disappeared from the available options for desktop background and screensaver. Anyone have any ideas?

Glenn,

Check your admin rights to Aperture. Change the admin rights to read & write and it'll appear as an option for desktop background and screensaver.
