Aperture photostream vs Photos photostream

Hi,

I was use to have an album created every month in Aperture for the pictures taken with the iPhone and these were downloaded locally.

I have "opened" my Aperture library Photos since we will have to migrate anyway one day but it doesn't seem to do it anymore. It looks like the pictures being taken with the iPhone and not being downloaded automatically to my Photos library.

Am I missing something? I have the iCloud enabled but not the sync between all devices with I would have to buy the 1TB monthly fee...
