Aperture Question

hi all,
im running 10.8 and Aperture 3.3.2. Was using Cocktail to scan corrupted plist files. It keeps saying that com.apple.AECT.plist is corrupted. Actually, Onyx states cannot parse a null or zero-length data. i have trashed the plist and recreated by opening aperture and both cocktail and onyx keep saying its corrupt... any ideas?
