Aperture recovery question

I had just installed my Aperture and imported the library. A day or so later my system crashed (long story). Anyway, if I have extracted my Aperture.library file from the old drive, if I dump that back into photos after formatting and reinstalling OS X and Aperture, will the pics be there? Is there any other file I need to retrieve? I was using defaults, importing pictures without telling it to reference or anything.

If successfully just dumped the Library package from machine to machine and on a re-install. Should work fine.
