Aperture SPace Hog??

it seems like my aperture library is becoming such a huge 'space hog'
is it because its duplicating the file for the original vs. master?
and is there anything u guys can reccomend?

Maybe making large previews is hogging up the space?

What camera do you shoot with, do you shoot RAW or JPEG, and how many photos do you have? All of those factor into how much space Aperture is actually going to take up..... digital cameras do create large file sizes nowadays.
