So, I know Aperture had it's obligatory update just before Lion's release, but it now seems to still need a little patch up.

In Full Screen (Something Aperture was already very good at) it looks like Aperture is getting confused between the keyboard shortcut, the toggle switch, and exit. And because of this it always feels like Aperture isn't stable in full screen. Scrolling in and revealing the image browser causes more hangs than before as Aperture's old UI tries to keep up with Lion's.

We've been needing an Aperture 4/X since before Lion was just a cub, now it looks even more necessary. Maybe it's time.

Has anyone else figured out how to regain the ability to use multiple displays in Aperture while in fullscreen mode? It appears the feature is now disabled. Extremely frustrating, as they've basically broken Aperture's fullscreen capabilities to comply with Lion.

Full Screen Sucks in Lion

I have the same problem as the OP. Aperture full screen in Lion seems to now use the system-wide full screen so is clunky in changing to full screen and back: you have to watch the menu bar animate off to the left, which takes too long; then the same when you want to switch back. They've really screwed this up.
