Aperture Trial Issue

Hope some one can help me with my issue.

I had the trial version of aperture 2 which had expired and just bought aperture 3.
I had a lot of pictures that i edited on the aperture 2 trial which i would like access.
I have always used Time machine to backup so i should still have the pictures i just cant seem to find them at all.

Any way i can get these images back?
Would be happy with just the masters.
