OK, this has bugged me for awhile, and now it is driving me nuts. I am hoping there is a simple preference fix for this one...

I have been using Aperture and iPhoto since they were first released. iphoto does NOT do this, but Aperture behaves differently in this regard. Anytime you open up Aperture it always defaults to the top of the image archive, whereas iPhoto "remembers" where you last opened, and were working before you quit, whether you are in a specific folder/project or at a certain point down within the mass of images. To make matters worse, even if you don't quit Aperture, but switch between any album and the master library it jumps back up to the "top" of the library. I have a pretty large archive of pics, over 50k, and this is so totally bonkers and time consuming that I am at my wits end.

PLEASE someone tell me there is a simple fix for this, lol.
