Aperture won't import my dng's

Hi All,

I have a bunch of dng's that won't import into A3.

The were all converted from the raw files from my Leica D-Lux4 and Olly Pen-1, via Adobe Raw Convertor. I did this some time ago and never got round to importing them into Aperture.

Now when I try to import them, A3 doesn't recognise them. Of course, I have lost the originals!!!! I have used the repaire tools in A3, but they didn't help. They do import Ok into Photoshop.......

Any ideas??

How did you convert to DNG. Aperture only supports a very specific conversion.

From the Aperture specs page: "DNG files must be generated by the Adobe DNG Converter with the “Convert to Linear Image” option turned off."

Thanks for the reply. I was aware of this issue, but i could never find this option in the convertors interface.........this could be this issue. How do i make sure that “Convert to Linear Image” is set correctly??

No idea. I don't use DNGs.
