Aperture: Wont support JEGP?!?!?!

When ever I import any picture format.

GIF
JPEG
JPEG2000
PNG

None of them will work, it keeps telling me "Unsupported Image format"

Running SL up to-date.... What am i doing wrong here people?

Strange ... I can't say anything about GIF or PNG, but Aperture imports the jpg from either my Canon Powershot or iPhoto just fine.

Which version of Aperture do you use?
